Got my car stolen from here, would absolutely not recommend it to anyone due to lack of security, they dont even have the cameras on any exit even though I escalated quite a bit. The cars in the garages also get broken into. Also, good luck in finding a parking spot.

One of the stupidest and irritating customer service here. If you want to get in contact with the leasing office you will have to wait for one-two days depending on your luck. You can't directly go and talk with them as if they are some officials. Are you here to help your residents or not? You have to leave a voice mail every time and can't get in contact and they will call back whenever they want at what ever time they want. If you don't lift at that time, you can never talk to them. This means they don't value your time and your stay there. Look somewhere else for peace of mind

Avalon Fremont is centrally located and close to shopping and restaurants. Shaima Feroz in the leasing office is very professional and knowledgeable and made the leasing processes very smooth and comfortable! Thanks Avalon Fremont and specially Shaima Feroz!

I have known Constantino Icho [a member of the maintenance staff at Avalon Fremont] for many years. He is professional, detail-oriented and respectful. He assessed and resolved issues at my apartment in a timely manner. Thank you, Constantino for your dedication and hard work!

This place is a joke. My wife and I were looking to lease an apartment. I came to the office where the hours clearly stated 9:30am to 5pm. There is no one in be leasing office and it is locked. I scanned the barcode on the door to schedule a self-guided tour at 11:00 a.m. I waited in the cold for 30 minutes until it was after 11:00. I called the number on the door to get directed to someone else who informed me that no one will be there until 2:30 p.m. and I would have to reschedule my meeting to that time. Why would there be an option to do a self-gata tour through a qR code if it's not available? I'll definitely lease somewhere else.

Note: I'll update this review if and only if I get the proper support from the community team and get my issues resolved. Update - 2023/11/28 I changed the rate from 1/5 to 3/5 since Avalon started taking actions. 1. Avalon reached out to me and said they will reimburse the stolen items on behalf of AT&T. I guess they will subrogate it anyway since it's on AT&T. 2. There is no clear schedule for AT&T Fiber installation, meaning that I might be asked to remove my furniture and stuffs from my space at any time. Cons: AVOID AT ALL COSTS IF YOU DON'T WANT YOUR BELONGINGS STOLEN. THIS APARTMENT HAS BURGLARY ISSUE THAT THE MANAGEMENT DOESN'T REALLY FIX/HELP PROACTIVELY. THEY WILL JUST ASK YOU TO CALL POLICE, WHICH DOESN'T HELP AT ALL :) This is the second time there has been a burglary issue. The first time was due to the POOR door lock they installed at the garage entrance. My car was completely robbed, and nothing was left inside. The apartment community team fetched the anti-picking plate, but other than that, they couldn't do much. The second time was today (2023/10/30) during the AT&T fiber installation. This was community-wide installation work, and they asked me to remove my car from the Garage all of a sudden (without the earlier notice, but on the same day) for the AT&T works. I moved my car outside, and after 6 hours, I came back to my car to park it back to my garage. And, I found all of my utility boxes were stolen. I guess this happened because AT&T left the entire garage entrance opened until I came back and closed it by myself, but the Avalon community team should have clarified this with the AT&T team if they decided to leave residents' garage entrances opened. It's unacceptable that burglary issues have occurred twice in less than 6 months, and the apartment management haven't made proper plan or communications with their stakeholders. I don't recommend leasing this apartment or renewing your lease unless you are comfortable with your belongings being stolen. Don't be fooled by the Google Reviews. They have decent reviews because Avalon constantly send out the promotional emails asking for good reviews for a Amazon Gift Card Raffle. Pros: The only good thing about this community is the maintenance team (Constantino Icho). He works really hard, respond very quickly, and make sure that they resolve your open issue. I'd say he's the true gem of the apartment. Deanna also try to help residents but seems like there is a clear limitation that she can support on her side.
